Start with operating reality
List the locations the business genuinely serves, including practical limits such as response time, licensing, delivery range, fleet availability or minimum project value.
Do not publish office addresses where no real staffed location exists.
Require distinct customer value
A useful page can explain local service availability, relevant project evidence, area-specific constraints, travel or response considerations and the correct contact path.
If the only distinct element is the place name, a broader coverage hub may serve customers better.
Choose the right page model
Use a real location page for a staffed clinic, office or branch. Use a service-area page for a genuine non-office coverage area when distinct information exists. Use a coverage hub when several areas share the same operating details.
- Branch page: address, team, hours and local services
- Service-area page: real coverage evidence without a fake office
- Coverage hub: clear list and explanation of shared service areas
Consolidate responsibly
When thin pages already exist, select the strongest useful destination, map affected URLs, apply appropriate redirects and update internal links and sitemaps.
Monitor whether consolidated pages continue to satisfy relevant customer journeys.
